Currently zoned R1 with a future land use of R3. Potential uses allowed under R1 zoning include single-family and public school use. Conditional uses include residential treatment and care facilities. Special exception uses allowed include private schools, day-care centers, churches and professional offices.

Pasco County will begin improvements north of this intersection on Old Pasco Road in 2018. FDOT and Pasco County anticipates construction of a new interchange at Overpass Road on I-75, approximately 2 miles north of this site to be complete between 2020 and 2022.
